Drum Corps Returns to the Midlands 

Drum and Bugle Corps will return to the Midlands this Friday, July 8, at River Bluff High School. CrownBEAT, sponsored by the Carolina Crown Organization of Fort Mill, SC, will feature seven of the world's best drum corps from across the United States. Performing corps include the 10-time DCI World Champion The Cadets of Allentown, PA, Bluecoats of Canton, OH, Boson Crusaders of Boston, MA, Crossmen of San Antonio, TX, Jersey Surf of Camden County, NJ, Spirit of Atlanta of Atlanta, GA, and Legends of Kalamazoo, MI. 

In addition to sponsoring this performance, the Carolina Crown Organization's community outreach arm, CrownCARES, will be partner with Greater Sole Purpose of Atlanta, GA, to provide shoes to deserving youth of Columbia, SC Greater Sole Purpose is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing shoes to under-privileged children and teens whose families cannot afford them.
