DESCRIPTION:Gilbert Middle School begins Veterans Day celebrations with a reception honoring those who have served in the military. After that\, guests will enjoy a program which features patriotic music. Sgt. 1st Class John Clarke of the South Carolina State Guard will serve as guest speaker for the event. There will aslo be a presentation of the colors and a student-produced slideshow of veterans related to GMS students and staff. The day will conclude with lunch for veterans and visitors in the school cafeteria.
