Parade begins at 9:30 AM from GIS along Chapin Road to Lexington Avenue\, along Lexington Avenue past the Fire Station to Columbia Avenue\, along Columbia Avenue to Boundary Street\, along Boundary Street to Weisz Street and back to US 76\, ending at GIS.\n\n \n\n Trophies will be awarded for the best floats in Commercial\, Non Profit\, Children and Youth and overall categories for best representation of the theme\, "All Aboard."\n\n \n\n After the parade check out the Book Sale at the District Five Alternative Academy on Columbia Avenue.\n\n \n\n On Beaufort and Clark Streets in historic downtown Chapin\, enjoy a children's carnival\, the Chapin Idol talent contest\, a classic car show by the Newberry Car Buff's and an AMROC model train display\, arts and crafts and vendors\, food concessions\, and an old-fashioned gospel concert at Chapin Christian Counseling & Grace Chapel\, on East Boundary Street.\n\n \n\n Fun and entertainment for everyone throughout the day.
