Deep-Rooted Wisdom Reception with Jenks Farmer. In celebration of locally-renowned horticulturist Jenks Farmers' new book, Deep-Rooted Wisdom, enjoy a short program at Redcliffe Plantation - a spectacular place for sunset! Julia Hammond gardened at Radcliffe n the 1920's. Hear excerpts from her lovingly written garden journals. Jenks will then read related excerpts from Deep-Rooted Wisdom, his recently released gardening guide that emphasizes the importance of sustainability and "old" techniques in the craft. Jenks will also sign copies of his book, which are available in Redcliffe Interpretive Center and Gift Shop. The cost is $10.00 for Adults and $5.00 for children for the Reading. The Private Reception: Is FREE but RSVP is required.
