Columbia Metropolitan Airport to Host Fall DBE Meet & Greet
After a holding a successful spring event and having been recognized by The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce for Excellence in Diversity, Columbia Metropolitan Airport will host a Fall small, minority and women owned business meet and greet.
The fall event will take place on Thursday, October 25 at 4:30pm and 6:30pm in the Carolina Room at the airport terminal located at 3250 Airport Boulevard, West Columbia, SC 29170.
Unlike the spring program, the fall event will be divided into two sessions.
The 4:30pm session will focus on businesses that are or want to become a SCDOT Certified DBE. Speakers will provide information on how to obtain or retain SCDOT certification and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of being certified with the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
The 6:30pm session will focus on non-certified small, minority and women owned businesses. Speakers at this session will provide information for businesses that are not SCDOT certified but still have an interest in doing business with the airport.
